Blower Motor
Cleaning
Blower Motor Assembly - Part of
the air-handling unit responsible for air flow in the
system. Good spot to find heavy dust accumulation, which
decreases the efficiency of the unit

Coil Cleaning
To ensure your furnace runs its
best, your coil needs to be clean. If your home has a
split-unit air conditioner, you will find a coil inside your
furnace either above or below your blower. Even though you
may not be running your air conditioner, air from the blower
still needs to pass through the coil to heat your home. If
your coil is dirty, your blower will have to work harder and
you will be getting less air into your ductwork.

Dryer vent
cleaning
with lint and other debris,
drying time increases and can cause the dryer itself to
overheat. This increases energy consumption since the dryer
has to run longer to dry your clothes and can also cause
fires in the dryer or the dryer duct. The Consumer Product
Safety Commission reports dryer related home fires are on
the increase. CPSC figures show that in 1997 there were
16,800 dryer fires which caused 30 deaths, 430 injuries and
97.3 million dollars in property damage.

Chimney Cleaning
Duct Expert, LLC. technician
will cover the around the fireplace with plastic to ensure
that any debris does not fall on the surrounding area. Any
ash or left over burned wood from the fireplace will be
brushed and swept into a trash bag and then sealed. A hard
metal brush with extendable rods will be placed up the
chimney to agitate any debris. The debris will be vacuumed
and swept into another trash bag, sealed and removed from
the home.

Mold treatment -
Sanitation
If our technician identifies
mold in the ductwork system, he/she will show the client and
recommend the use of sanitizer, a chemical solution approved
by the EPA for mold remediation within the ductwork. The
mold will be agitated and removed manually. The technician
will then use a fogger, an electric device that coats the
ductwork with the sanitizer to remediate the remaining mold.
