Chimney Cleaning

Duct Expert, LLC. technician will cover the around the fireplace with plastic to ensure that any debris does not fall on the surrounding area. Any ash or left over burned wood from the fireplace will be brushed and swept into a trash bag and then sealed. A hard metal brush with extendable rods will be placed up the chimney to agitate any debris. The debris will be vacuumed and swept into another trash bag, sealed and removed from the home.

 

           

 

Mold treatment - Sanitation

If our technician identifies mold in the ductwork system, he/she will show the client and recommend the use of sanitizer, a chemical solution approved by the EPA for mold remediation within the ductwork. The mold will be agitated and removed manually. The technician will then use a fogger, an electric device that coats the ductwork with the sanitizer to remediate the remaining mold.
